The best decision we made was having Rochelle and the Isn’t it Lovely Events team part of our journey and day. We can’t thank them enough for the support, ideas, solutions and excitement they brought to our day. Having our wedding on the family farm was incredibly special, but also brought its own set of challenges. We couldn’t have done it without Rochelle by our side. She takes the stress out of everything and puts the chic in farm weddings. It’s her quick thinking and problem solving, her leadership, eye for design and unique ability to read your mind when it counts. IIL is quickly becoming the private property wedding specialists and we couldn’t recommend them enough.
on a warm 38 degree day in January Chelsea and Joe married on the family 5th generation farm. The property has always been home for Joe, now Chelsea and their little one but most of all it is full of family history. Tradition is important to Joe and Chelsea so much so their wedding date was chosen in line with the Australia Day tomato growing competition. They even included tomato seeds in guests invitations for them to grow and be apart of the tradition.
Set on the riverbank where Joe has spent many a hot afternoon, surrounded by rolling hills Chelsea and Joe said ‘I do’. After drinks on the river guests moved into the ‘hayshed’ lit by festoon lighting and vintage chandeliers to be treated to a magical sunset and reception that really but the chic into this chic country wedding.
Fun fact! Rochelle grew up with Joe and to help him and Chelsea bring this day to life is something she will forever treasure. You will see Chelsea pop up from time to time as she is now a member of our amazing team.
